Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Engaged to Wed

It was a big night on Wednesday, as Ashlee Simpson announced that she’s engaged to her Fall Out Boy bassist boyfriend Pete Wentz.

“We know there has been a lot of

speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, considering you guys are the best,” Simpson wrote in a statement posted online.
